Why it matters
A web application differs from a website in that people work inside it. It sits behind a login, has roles and permissions, works with live data and has to cope when several users lean on it at once. That places different demands on the architecture than a brochure site does.
A decisive part of the work happens before the first line of code — in the data model and the structure of the application. Well-built foundations decide how easily the app can grow a year from now, when requirements nobody expects today start arriving.
I build applications on Next.js, TypeScript and PostgreSQL, deploy them in Docker and insist on type safety, readable code and testability. I don't hand over a prototype that has to be rewritten within a year.

I design the data model, the architecture and the interface. This phase decides the cost of everything that follows.

I deliver the application in working chunks, so you see finished parts along the way and can refine the brief.

A smaller application covering one main agenda starts at CZK 30,000. Larger systems with several modules, roles and integrations are quoted individually. It only makes sense to fix an exact price after scoping — an estimate without it is just a number.
How long does development take?

A first usable version is typically ready in 8 to 12 weeks. The application then grows in stages, because the real requirements only show up in production. That approach is cheaper than trying to specify everything up front.
Will you take over an application somebody else started?

Yes, taking over an existing project is a common situation. I start with a review of the code and architecture, tell you straight what condition it is in, and propose whether to carry on, refactor or rewrite parts of it.
Who owns the source code?

You do. The source code and the data are yours and I hand them over with documentation. You are not tied to me in any way — if you decide to continue with somebody else, you can hand the application over without complications.
Do you handle operations and maintenance too?

Yes. I take care of hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates and further development. Operations are a normal part of the collaboration, not a requirement — if you have your own team, I hand the application over to them.
