Website redesign
A dated website puts people off before they read the first sentence. A redesign gives it a contemporary look, a clearer structure and faster loading — without losing its search rankings.
Price from
A smaller redesign from CZK 15,000; large sites depend on the volume of content.
Delivery time
Usually 3—6 weeks depending on how much content has to be migrated.
What's included
Review, design, development, content migration and redirects from old addresses.
Why it matters
Websites age faster than people expect. After a few years the design shows at a glance, it is harder to use on a phone, and content that has grown in the meantime gets lost in the original structure. Yet visitors judge the whole company by the site.
I don't start a redesign with graphics but with the question of what people look for on the site and where they currently give up. Only then do we deal with how it will look — otherwise you get a prettier version of the same problem.
The most delicate part of a redesign is holding on to search rankings. Page addresses often change, and without properly configured redirects the site loses traffic it spent years building. I treat that as its own step, not an afterthought at the end.

How we work together
1. Site review
I go through the current site, its analytics and its search rankings. I find out what works and what has to be preserved.
2. Structure and design
I propose a new content structure and look, and put together the redirect map from old addresses to new ones.
3. Development and migration
I build the site, migrate the content and add copy where it is missing or has gone stale.
4. Launch and supervision
I launch the site, deploy the redirects and watch how it behaves in search and through the first weeks of operation.

Frequently asked questions
Will a redesign cost me my search rankings?
+
Not when it is run properly. The key is keeping page addresses, or redirecting them honestly to the new ones, holding the heading structure and not losing content that has traffic. I prepare the redirect map as part of the design, not after launch.
How much does a website redesign cost?
+
A smaller redesign starts at CZK 15,000. For larger sites the price is driven mainly by how much content has to be migrated and reviewed. You get a specific quote after the review of your current site.
Can I keep my current content?
+
Yes. I migrate the content and recommend which texts are worth extending or rewriting — usually because they have gone stale or don't target the phrases customers search for. How far you go is up to you.
Will I be able to tell whether the redesign paid off?
+
Yes, which is why I record the baseline numbers before launch — traffic, load speed and the number of enquiries. After launch I compare them, so you see a concrete difference rather than a feeling that the site looks nicer.
