A hotel website prototype with online stay booking
A demo website for a mountain hotel with a complete stay booking flow. It isn't client work — I built the prototype so I can show accommodation providers what booking can look like instead of describing it.

The brief
When accommodation providers enquire, they are mostly asking one thing: can a guest book a stay on their own, and will reception still know what is occupied? Explaining that in a meeting is slow, so I wanted something tangible — a working site and a booking flow an enquirer can click through.
The solution
The core of the prototype is a four-step booking: dates, room, details and summary. The calendar shows booked days and the price on each free date, so a guest can tell a weekday from a weekend before clicking.
In the second step the guest picks from room types with the price for the whole stay and adds extras — breakfast, wellness, parking or a cot. The price summary recalculates as they go, so nobody gets a surprise at the end. The booking is deliberately a request that reception confirms within 24 hours.
Around the booking sits the whole hotel website: rooms, restaurant, wellness, gallery, tips for the area and reviews. Everything is bilingual in Czech and German, because German-speaking guests travel to the Czech mountains and language is often a substantial part of the brief.
